Field Trip Day

Arrival

  • We like to start the day between 10-10:30am. We understand that we may be at the mercy of the buses and ask that the school lets us know when they leave so we have an ETA. A simple text from the contact person works great.

  • Upon arrival, our staff will meet the students as they get off the bus and escort them to a set of picnic tables.

  • You may use our picnic table area for lunch prior to departure.

Details

  • The Educational Farm Field Trip lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours as participants rotate through several stations with their class/group.

  • Station highlights include goats, sheep, miniature donkeys, and miniature horses. And, don't forget time at our chicken coop where you'll feed the chickens and observe eggs in the nest.

  • Our little farm animals are very friendly and familiar with interactions with children.

Even More

  • Visiting groups of all sizes participate in a hayride. The hayride offers a chance to see more of our property and our pastured animals.

  • Our farmer presenters provide information about farmer responsibilities and the value of agriculture products such as wool, milk, and eggs.
